               An International Conference on Text,
                  Speech and Dialogue (TSD 2005)

                      September 12-16, 2005

                      Plzen, Czech Republic


              C A L L   F O R   E X H I B I T I O N


Format of the conference:
TSD 2005 is an  international  conference  with a  limited  number  of
active  participants.  It is  organized  by  the  Faculty  of  Applied
Sciences, University of West Bohemia, Plzen (Pilsen), and  the Faculty
of  Informatics,  Masaryk  University,  Brno.  The conference  program 
will include  presentation of  invited papers, oral presentations, and 
poster/demonstration  sessions. Papers  will be  presented in  plenary
or  topic oriented sessions. A preliminary conference program  will be 
published at the conference www pages. The first day of the conference 
will be dedicated for tutorials and workshops. The  official  language
of  the event  will be  English. The  conference  will  take  place in 
Karlovy Vary (Carlsbad) in Postovni dvur.

Conference topics:
The conference topic is partially oriented to the multi-modal human - 
computer interaction (HCI), but e.g the following topics are included:

 	corpora, texts and transcription;
 	sense disambiguation;
 	multilingual issues, especially multilingual dialogue systems;
 	development of dialogue strategies;
 	information retrieval and information extraction;
 	speech analysis, recognition and synthesis;
 	knowledge representation.

The  exhibition  space  is open  for  the presentation  of equipment,
systems, software, literature and any other products of importance to
Human-Computer Interaction (HCI).  The exhibition area will be placed
centrally to the conference auditoriums. Please  focus  on  available
products as well as solutions for the future.  About 100 experts from
around  the world  and key persons  introducing  new  technology  and
systems around  Language Engineering will be visiting the exhibition.
Potential exhibitors  are asked to contact the Conference Secretariat
for further information.
We would  also like to receive proposals for companies, organizations
or individuals  that  ought  to  be  invited  to  participate  in the
exhibition and present interesting products and activities.
