I am a specialist UK recruiter seeking speech recognition developers to join a speech recognition company who have offices in Amsterdam & the UK skills below are required:

To meet demand experienced within a company which has been established in the UK & Netherlands for more than twenty years, Speech Identity is recruiting an Application Developer. Working in a team based in the UK, this exciting role provides an opportunity for an experienced developer to enhance their knowledge of speech recognition and self-service technology areas. 
 
The opportunity will suit a person that is dependable, creative, hard-working and self-motivated. As the customer base is international, a willingness to travel overseas may be necessary
 
Technical Ability
Working in a logical and systematic way, the successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in the development of VoiceXML &  IVR applications. The candidate will have a solid understanding and demonstrable experience of speech technology & CTI (Computer Telephony Integration) GSL grammar development and Voice User Interface design.
 
The candidate should understand the fundamentals of good software design and should be aware of patterns-based approaches to design. 
 
Experience Nuance, Speechworks, HTK is advantageous
 
Languages:
C++/C, Perl
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) are important, as the role will involve some customer facing activity and the provision of high quality Professional Services time estimates – the role will suit someone used to working to deadlines. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the position will also involve coaching and mentoring of our customer support function as required.
