Speech Synthesis Researchers wanted for 36 month UK contract

We are currently seeking a speech signal processing engineer, to work on
speech morphing (from one speaker to another), for signal processing in
prosody modification and for signal processing HMM synthesis. In addition
there remains plenty of "general" speech work, such as HMMs and other tasks
listed below.


Tasks:

To conduct research and development in various automatic speech recognition
topics. 
To implement successful ideas/formalisms in the product code. 
To support the operations of the speech unit in various ways. 
 

Requirements:

A good understanding of signal processing, pattern matching and probability
theory. 
Excellent analytical ability, ability to conduct research experiments. 
C and/or C++ programming experience. 
A degree in Mathematics, Physics or Engineering. 
A post graduate qualification in a related subject is a significant
advantage. 
Previous experience in speech recognition is also a significant advantage.
