               CALL FOR PARTICIPATION - CSR 2009

    4th International Computer Science Symposium in Russia
             August 18-23, 2009, Novosibirsk, Russia

     Organized by Sobolev Institute of Mathematics SB RAS



CSR 2009 is the fourth conference in the series of regular
events spanning all areas of computer science. This year
it is mainly focused on its theoretical aspects.

The program of CSR 2009 consists of 29 contributed papers,
an opening lecture by Andrei Voronkov (the University of
Manchester) and 4 invited lectures by

Sergei Odintsov, IM, Novosibirsk
Wolfgang Thomas, RWTH Aachen
Nikolai K. Vereshchagin, Moscow State University
Hongseok Yang, Queen Mary University, London.

The list of accepted papers can be found at the conference
web site. The conference proceedings will be published in
the Springer LNCS series.

Novosibirsk is the largest city in Siberia and an important
scientific center. Located in the middle of West Siberian
Plain, it was founded in 1893 around the future railway
bridge crossing the great river Ob. The symposium will take
place in Sobolev Institute of Mathematics situated in the
green and quiet Novosibirsk Akademgorodok, 20 km from the
city center.

The main accomodation site is the hotel "Zolotaya dolina"
which offers conference discounts to participants (the
number of rooms is limited). Accomodation requests from
non-speakers will be considered on a first-come-first-
served basis.

The symposium is sponsored by RFBR and Yandex. The
registration fee is 350 euros (240 euros for students) to
be paid upon arrival. There are also reduced fees for
participants working in Russia.

plan to participate and need a Russian visa, please contact
the organizers before May 30 since it takes more than a
month just to issue the official invitation.
