The School of Computer Science at the University of Manchester, UK, was 
recently awarded a Centre for Doctoral Training in Computer Science 
(http://cdt.cs.manchester.ac.uk/).

The CDT has at least PhD 15 studentships available for UK and EU 
students, which cover tuition fees and provide a stipend for 4 years.

Students with research interests in natural language processing 
(including text mining) are very welcome to apply.
