Machine learning in signal processing 2011 is concerned with all
aspects of machine learning for signal prrocessing including, but
 not limited to:

 Algorithms & Architectures:
Machine learning and statistical signal processing; typical
approaches and modern implementations of supervised, unsupervised,
reinforcement and semi-supervised learning, probabilistic modeling
and kernel methods; artificial neural networks, advanced (adaptive,
 nonlinear) signal processing.

Speech processing, image processing (computervision), pattern
recognition, medical imaging, multimodal interactions, intelligent
multimedia and webprocessing, robotics, sonar and radar, biomedical
engineering, timeseries prediction, blind source separation, data
 fusion and mining.

Parallel and distributed implementations, hardware design and
 implementations for real-time processing requirements.

A data and signal analysis competition related to face recognition
is being organized. Winners will present their works and receive
their award during the Workshop. For more information see

Authors are invited to submit a double column paper of up to six
pages using the electronic submission procedure described at
http://mlsp2011.conwiz.dk. Accepted papers will be published by IEEE
 and electronic proceedings.

MLSP 2011 is sponsored by the IEEE Signal Processing Society, and we
would like to acknowledge the support from Intel and Dolby.
