Speech Research Applications Engineer

Toshiba Research in Cambridge, England, is looking for a speech 
technology engineer with good software experience to work on the 
development of HMM-based speech synthesis and speech recognition 
systems. This is a full-time position for one year, starting as 
soon as possible.

You should have:
. Good knowledge of HMMs for speech synthesis and/or speech recognition
. Good software programming skills in C and Python
. Masters related to speech technology or equivalent work experience
. Right to work in the European Union
. Knowledge of European languages other than English is desired.

Toshiba's Cambridge Research Lab is based in the Cambridge Science 
Park. Our research areas include speech and computer vision technology 
and quantum physics. We have close links with the University of 
Cambridge and are a member of NST user-group with Edinburgh, Sheffield
and Cambridge universities and the EU SCALE ITN.
