The Computer Laboratory at the University of Cambridge invites
applications for a three-year PhD studentship starting in October 2012.
The studentship is associated with the project A Unified Model of
Compositional and Distributional Semantics: Theory and Applications. The
aim of the project is to develop a general modeling framework of
compositional distributional semantics and apply it to cognitive modeling
and large-scale NLP tasks.
The successful candidate will have a good honours degree or equivalent in
computational linguistics, artificial intelligence, computer science, or a
related discipline. He/she will have strong programming skills and
previous experience in machine learning and/or natural language
