The Department of Speech, Music and Hearing at KTH, Stockholm is hiring 1-2
Assistant Professors in Speech Technology with specialization in dialogue
systems.

The Department of Speech, Music and Hearing is an internationally
recognized research lab in speech technology and sound and music
computing.  Speech research is focused on human-like communication with
machines and robots  based on multimodal information. The research area is
truly multi-disciplinary  bridging computer science, machine learning,
linguistics, and perception and cognition disciplines.

The focus of the research for the assistant professor is the development of
interactive models that can be used in multimodal spoken dialogue systems.
An application in rapid development is social robots which can interact
with humans in a natural manner through speech, facial expression and
gestures.
