conference is to be held in Baltimore, Maryland, USA, from June 23rd to
June 25th, 2014. The tutorials are scheduled for Sunday, June 22nd.

ACL 2014 seeks proposals for tutorials on all topics of computational
linguistics, broadly conceived to include areas such as cognitive modeling
of language processing and psycholinguistics, dialogue and interactive
systems, discourse, coreference and pragmatics, text mining and information
extraction, information retrieval and question answering, language
resources, lexical semantics and ontologies, machine translation,
multilinguality, NLP applications, NLP for social media, semantic

encouraged are tutorials that educate the community about advancements in
neighboring research areas such as machine learning, knowledge mining,
information retrieval, speech processing, relevant other areas of
artificial intelligence and linguistics, as well as applications of NLP to
new domains or problems.

Information on the payment for tutorial instructors can be found in the ACL
Tutorial Teacher Payment Policy [1]. Please note: remuneration for Tutorial
presenters is fixed according to the above policy and does not cover
registration fees for the main conference.
